Everton Academy Skills Clinic scheduled for Friday has been cancelled due to the weather.
It is now scheduled to start on May 16th.

Soccer for AYSO on Saturday has not been cancelled as of 12:30 on Friday. We arre watching the weather reports closely. Saturday games depend of the field conditions. Check back here on Saturday morning.  Games played on the Indian Ledge Turf field will not be affected and should go on as planned.

All registered AYSO players, be sure to add your name to the list to participate in the Friday afternoon soccer skills clinics with Everton America.  The sign up sheet will be availabe at the Kaechele field house on game day. The cost for new players is $25 for the season, and includes a ball and jersey. Returning players who still have their ball and jersey from the fall will be allowed to participate at no additional cost. The first session will be at Kaechele on Friday, May 16th  4:30 -5:30 for U5 and U6,  and 5:30 to 6:30 for U8, U10, U12 and U14.

• Practices can not be held at Kaechele. It is only to be used for games, and organized clinics. Kidergarten and younger do not practice during the week. U8 and older should hold their weeklypractice at a school playground. The field in front of Hillcrest is available any time. If you go behind Hillcrest please don't begin until the school teams are through after 5:30. Lacrosse has been given the playing fields for the spring at the High School, so soccer must find another spot to set up their cones and discs for team practices. Twin Brooks Park, and Indian Ledge grass field is also off limits. There may be some free space below the artificial turf field, or at Old Mine Park for you to hold pracices. 

• Rain Cancellations will be posted here on this site.

• Uniforms should be purchased at the Kaechele Field House prior to your first game.
• Shin Guards are manditory and must be worn at practice and games, and must be covered with socks.
• Soccer Cleats are recommended for U8 and older. They must be purchased elsewhere.
• Baseball, Football, type cleats are dangeous and are not permitted.

The Trumbull AYSO board applauds the recent announcement by the Parks Commission requiring background checks for all volunteers and employees  who work with children. AYSO has had this procedure in place for a number of years. In addition, all volunteers are required to complete a Safe Haven Certification which instructs volunteers in child safety.  AYSO  also requires each region to have a CVPA, Child and Volunteer Protection Advocate to monitor complience.
