This Weeks Update May 18, 2013

WEEKLY UPDATE
Hello Players, Parents, Coaches, Volunteers and Guests,

Great News!!  We will have donuts and coffee this week. Please help us support the High School Boosters club.  The Boosters sell: coffee, donuts, chips, Gatorade and other snacks, all the proceeds go for scholarships and to help defray costs for playing high school sports.

Let me say that we were very encouraged by how you did not park on the grass and also for not dropping off the players at the entrance to the fields.  Please remember that the Trumbull Police can show up at any time so still don’t park on the grass.

A safety note:  Please no jewelry, this is a AYSO national rule please leave earrings, necklaces, rings at home.  I know it has been a little chilly the last couple of weekends, if your player is cold and wants to wear a sweatshirt, hoodie or jacket please put them under the uniform shirt.  The shinguards also has to have the uniform socks over them.

A little help is needed each week. If you are a U5, U6 or U8 coach or parent that has an 8 am game, Please come 10 minutes early to help bring the goals to the field that you will be playing on.  If you play the 12:15 pm game please help us in bringing in the goals and flags at the end of the games.  We really appreciate this help.

Thank you for all that you do and for the continued support that you provide to our club, players, coaches, referrees, volunteers and guests.

See you on the pitch.

THIS WEEKS UPDATE

Hello Parents, Players, Coaches, Volunteers and Guests.

As we are entering into our fourth week everything is going well. This is a great tribute to your help on the soccer fields.

If you can help set up or strike the fields you help is still needed.  We have had a few show up to help and it is greatly appreciated, we can use more.  We start at 7:15 am for setup and we start to take down some of the fields after the 11 am games and finish what is left after the 12:15 games.

We have another message from our safety director.  There is NO PARKING ON THE GRASS.  Alan is letting you know this as the Trumbull Police WILL start to ticket those that are on the grass at Madison Middle School.  Also DO NOT use the handicap parking spots as drop offs for your kids.  It is very dangerous and Alan does not want to have to call the ambulance because a kid was hit.  PLEASE TAKE the extra time to park and walk your kid to the fields.  It is a great time to bond and ask questions before the game plus a great way to listen to them on what they learned and did after the game.

Thank you for the attention to this email .

See you on the Pitch,

Byron Campbell
